The Hestan name is born out of Stanley & Helen’s love for great food & wine. Cheng, a pioneer of the culinary world, embarks on his journey as a vintner with the purchase of an 80-acre cattle ranch located on Napa Valley’s remote eastern slopes and aptly names it Hestan Vineyards.
2005
The varietals offered by Hestan Vineyards expands. This year marks the first bottling of the Meyer Cabernet Sauvignon and Hestan Cabernet Sauvignon by winemaker Mark Harold. The Stephanie Proprietary Red is released, bottled by winemaker Jeff Gaffner.
2009
Acclaimed Napa Valley winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown joins Hestan Vineyards, taking over the entire production of the Hestan Label and Meyer Cabernet.

Hestan Commercial is created by industry mavericks and culinary innovators Stanley Cheng and Eric Deng in Anaheim, CA.

Hestan Vineyards introduces the Tasting Room in the heart of Yountville. The salon showcases the full collection of Hestan wines, NanoBond cookware and the much loved outdoor grill. Catch a glimpse of Stephanie’s performance harp by the window, represented by the silkscreen logo on each bottle of Stephanie wine.

Hestan Commercial moves into its 190,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that includes a showroom, test kitchen and innovation lab.

Hestan Commercial’s full line of commercial appliances makes its debut, introduces acclaimed chef Thomas Keller as its spokesperson, and wins two Kitchen Innovation awards that same year.

Hestan Vineyards expands its repertoire with a Pinot Noir, named after Stanley and Helen’s two sons, Vincent and Christopher. Vincent Christopher is the only label that is not estate-grown, using grapes from Walala, a vineyard that sits atop of a ridgeline overlooking the Sonoma Coast Pacific Ocean.

Hestan Residential’s premier line of grills and outdoor cooking products is launched, quickly garnering the attention of top publications, including Robb Report.

Cheng brought the best software and electrical engineers together with some of the world’s finest culinary chefs and food scientists. The result was the Hestan Cue, a smart cooking system that combines top-of-the-line smart cookware and cooktops, delicious recipes, and step-by-step guided videos.
